Orks and Terror

Is there any correlation between the rank of the ork, the Terror the ork causes and the number of traits it has?

Orks cause Terror equal to their rank.

Rank of the Ork and the number of Traits it has are not related in any way?

Edited: I misunderstood traits and dice, got 'em crossed up. One moment.

Traits are not based on the ork's rank. Traits equate to free Aspects. (Brr.)
Like so:

Rank 7 ork.
Initial dice: 7d6
Ork Traits-
Burning - Injury done by ork is aggrivated by increasing one rank, every time the ven takes a risk.
Claws - +3 dice for attack.
Tentacles - May make two Prowess risks in a row.

So, using its claws, 10d6, tentacles, 7d6 twice and any injury done becomes exacerbated every time the injured ven makes a risk.

Also, it can take a numbe of rank 5 injuries equal to its ork rank. Rank 7 ork = 35 ranks of health.

Scary, no?

Scary, yes. But the last part about the injuries. I can't find that in the book. Besides, shouldn't one rank 5 Injury and one additional action together with a Style Point spent kill the ork?

Even in mass murder? Then killing orks has just become impossible.... :shock:

Assuming ork use roughly the same rank set up everything else does, rank 7 is 2 or 4 ranks higher than most other things can get (vassals NPCify at 3 and most talents seem to go to 5). So I assume a rank 7 ork is fucking horrific. If you want to go beat down some monsters, hunt rank 2 or 3 bunny rabbits out in your backyard. More cthuloid-beast slaying glory for the rest of us. :D
