True Things about Tir Torigh:

• Loch Dubh (The Black Loch, Waterveil) lies in the centre of the isle with many rivers stretching out towards the sea
• Tir Torigh is renowned for the high quality of its ship-building
• Sailors tell that the rocks surrounding the isle sing during storms
• Marquise Morwen Steele rules the isle
• An organised group of contract agents (Puja) are used as scribes, lawyers, scholars and record keepers
• The Puja try to maintain a monopoly on the ritual to create Blood Contracts
• There is a mountain range across the west of the isle
• A week-long festival is held each year
• Where each noble must live in the castle of another
• It was started by the Marquise
• And she is exempt
• It is considered exceptional bad form to abuse hospitality during this ritual
• The capital of Tir Torigh is Vei-Hocht (The Spiders Web Isle)

True Things about The Ruins of Doom:

General

• Currently ruled by Lord Aban Eshu
• They act as the border point with the Holy Fen (of Lord Rafaet) and the Daver Fen (of Lord Ezidel)
• The bulk of the ruins where underground
• However they have recently raised from the swamp (in play)
• This has change alot about them (former facts have been removed until rechecked)
• The Ruins are a temple housing the Sauven Alesh Steele
• And are controlled by the Sauven
• The ruins are populated by 'intelligent' Tribal Ork

• Cyclopean pillars surround the site
• They are topped with statues of Ven
• The statues show expressions of fear and pain
• The statues date from the time of the Sorcerer-Kings
• Ancient runes encrust most pillars and stonework
• The main structure is a massive ziggurat
• Made from Obsidian
• A massive obelisk rises from the top
• A massive doorway leads within
• The door stand at the top of a long flight of stairs
• And the zigurat is surrounded by a sprawl of ork huts
• With shanties and scaffolding even extending up the walls of the Ruins

• The doorway opens and closes magically
• It leads into a humongous hall
• Which lies in disrepair
• In the centre of the hall is a pool
• Created when the foundation levels flooded
• Behind the Hall is the alter room (now shrine)
• Upon the alter lies the Sauven Alesh Steele
• Behind that lies maze-like crypts
• There are stairs up to the mid sections

• Currently home to Lord Faldrack Adrente
• It has an impressively large entrance hall
• That has recently been gutted out
• The castle is labyrinthine
• It once contained "Hall of Heroes" dedicated to the deeds of the family Eshu, though this has been destroyed
• The castle has rough architecture that is disguised with a beautiful finish
• It has a vast and well-stocked wine cellar
