Hi Laura!

I totally loved Tribe8 - I'll have to grab out my books and take a look for you in the credits 8-)

I was Laura Bishop-Roby, then. I'm just Laura Bishop now/again. My biggest claim to fame in that line is probably Word of the Dancers: Agnes the Child. I received honest to God threats about that one! =D

Tribe8? Wowzers. That takes me back. Loved that setting. :lol: Haven't looked at it in years.

So welcome to you, Fairyglass, and well met. Mind the ork pit. I think some of those might be what you would call gek'roh, if not z'bri...

Hola Laura! Welcome to boards! Have you played Blood & Honor yet?

The people local to me who are into Japanese History are more into 'Burning Wheel: the Blossoms are Falling', so not really, no. I'm actually not sure if anyone I know owns B&H. Hrm.

Ah, the let's turn everything into a giant flaming pile of...wheel. It's like someone reinvented 1st D&D and pretended it was a very slick modern product. The SYSTEMS, the numerous incongruous systems! THEY BURNS! ^_^ Yeah, not a big fan. But don't make that stop you. Everyone should read Burning Wheel, just like everyone should read the Bible. ^_^;

Blood and Honor PDF is just five bucks and the artwork and layout are worth that alone. All the artwork is taken from the National Archives section of original Japanese art. It's breathtakingly beautiful. :D

Hi,

My name is Chris Visser from South Africa.

I mostly GM and my favourite games/settings are: Planescape, Tribe 8 (even helped out a little on the PHB), 7th Sea and Fading Suns. There is also a soft spot in my heart for Paranoia and the Extraordinary Adventures of a certain Baron. Houses of the Blooded I discovered completely by accident on DrivethruRPG and I've been slowly converting more and more people over to the game.

Short and sweet :)

Welcome! Do you happen to know Fairyglass who posted just above you? She worked on Tribe 8 as well! :D

I never worked on the big books ;) I just helped out a little with the combat section of the Player's Handbook. I do have something in the works for one of my other favourite settings, but I don't want to jinx it :lol:

Welcome, Chris!
Welcome, Doug!

Glad to have you on board!
It's a great time to be a Houses of the Blooded fan, with a new supplement having recently been released (http://joshroby.com/coronets), and more supplements in the works!
